The Lion Park - Givskud Zoo - 26 km
The Lion Park covers an area of 60 hectares, where animals from all over the world move freely around in large enclosures. Visitors can study the impressive lions, curious ostriches, funny monkeys and other animals at close quarters, either in their own cars or in the Safari bus.
See the 20.000 square metre gorilla enclosure. Walk through the jungle, see the waterfall, listen to the sounds, visit the African village, explore the area and find the gorillas. |

The Concert Hall
Vejle’s cultural centre, “Musikteatret”, has two auditoriums. There is an open foyer with several stages, a restaurant, a café and various exhibition facilities. The Municipality of Vejle has laid out a beautiful park by the Concert Hall. |

Sailing/Windsurfing
Vejle Fjord has ideal waters for sailing tourists, and Vejle Marina provides good facilities. At Fårup Sø, boats and pedal boats can be hired.

Vintage Train from Vejle to Jelling
The last Sunday in June, every Sunday in July and the first Sunday in August, the vintage train runs from Vejle Station through the beautiful Grejsdalen to Jelling and back. |
